A message from the committee.  It was brought to our attention that a member of the association was fishing for pike without an unhooking mat, forceps or adequate net.  The member was helped by others and a pike was safely returned to Weedy Pond.

Just a reminder that all pike anglers should have the appropriate equipment with them and failure to do so will result in a disciplinary.  Could all members keep an eye out and in the first instance offer advice to any angler who may be inadequately prepared.
